Job Description :

The Application Manager is responsible for the management of specialized application analysts. They are responsible for coordinating technical requirements for the system and work closely with Executive Director. The Application Manager will provide an additional level of coordination and communication, overseeing implementation of an application, application area, or specialized team.

Required Qualifications :

Serves as a liaison between organizational needs and Epic implementation staff

Is knowledgeable of EHR ecosystem functionality and operation

Promotes the identification and implementation of promising practices and ensure optimal ecosystem utilization

Works directly with Epic Representatives, your organizational business community, and end users to ensure the system meets the organization’s business needs in regard to the project deliverables in weekly project

Maintains the scope, schedule, and quality of the project in their specific application area or team

Identifying and troubleshooting issues and escalates as necessary

Guide workflow design, building and testing the system and analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic Software

Sets clear expectations for team members, including defining what they should do each phase of the project

Works closely with executive director and other project managers to coordinate activities

Ensures the business community is engaged in the project

Advises and coaches team members by providing guidance on system issues, key success factors of the system utilization, and review of lessons learned

Shares with team members the positive effects of innovation and system capabilities

Reinforces the importance of optimal ecosystem performance together with the executives and the executive director, and provides consistent communication to the team

Makes independent decision of sound judgement, and reviews such with executive director

Organizes key resources within the organization

Motivates and shows appreciation for the team

Appropriately matches team member skills to team responsibilities

Manages the project along with Project Managers from an organizational perspective while attending to detailed tasks

Demonstrate flexibility with respect to changing end user business needs
