Job Description :
 

We are seeking a talented Instructional Designer for a very reputable organization.  This position is responsible for designing, writing, editing, developing, and providing instructional materials and resources in support of the organizations training initiatives. You will be responsible for the creation of online courses, multimedia presentations, formulating technical documents, guides, and lesson plans.


 


Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions of the role include but are not limited to:


·         Define and document learning objectives.


·         Conduct research and collaborate with subject experts.


·         Create instructional material: courses, curriculum, student guides or training manuals.


·         Design content to optimize learning.


·         Generate the layout of the learning supports.


·         Redesign content to ensure it matches the learner’s needs.


·         Create visual, audio and interactive learning tools.


·         Write and edit supplemental content (newsletters, blogs, FAQs, advertising copy, etc.


·         Participate in the analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating new and existing educational programs


 


Required Qualifications :
 

Qualifications/Competencies:


·         Bachelor’s Degree in Curriculum Design & Instruction, Writing, Education, or related field


·         Minimum 3 years of experience in technical writing and/or instructional design


·         Excellent writing and editing skills, with meticulous attention to detail


·         Strong understanding of adult learning theories, current instructional design best practices, and eLearning


·         High technical aptitude/acuity; ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts and information through multimedia


·         Ability to work well in a collaborative environment


Ability to follow directions, coordinate multiple projects, work independently with minimal guidance, and produce high-quality work under tight deadlines
